Marocian lancers

Recruited from wealthier levies, yeomen, landholders, and the younger sons of minor nobility, the Marocian Lancers serve as the swift-moving hammer of the king’s armies. Each man owns his own steed, and trains within the castle grounds of his liege lord, learning the ways of the lance, shield and saddle. Though far from true knights, the Lancers carry their spirit nonetheless, charging toward the foe with lances levelled and a cry in their throats.

In Halgrad, Lancers are the shock cavalry of Marocian Warbands, able to strike hard and fast.
