The Gull Men - Short Story

Eirik Othen is a famed Sellsword, Skald and Slayer from the Marocia, a land of seafarers, traders and warrior-kings, linked by blood with the Mahzkani Empire of old. 

Eirik's craft takes him all over the world, from the frozen wastes beyond the Sea of Wyrms, to the bamboo forests of distant Kholekar, slaying monster and man. 

The Gull Men sees Eirik on the sun-scorched Gold Coast, at the edge of the Pharazabad Desert. He's taken up with Perrus, a trader, and Captain of the Corswain, as he makes his way home after a long campaign in the desert. But the moment they make to depart, a mysterious new passenger presents themselves; an act that will alter the fates of every man aboard.
